So my parent's live almost EXACTLY on the 45th parallel...which I think has something to do with the super late sunsets during summer months. The sun sets REAAAAALLLY late, but one night I let will stay up longer than normal to make the trek down the stairs to Lake Michigan to see this beauty...

I think I would have to witness this EVERY night if I lived here full time...I can't wait to get some family pics next year when Johnny can stay up late, but this summer, this experience, was just for the "big boy" :)
