Man...you will see in this post how we don't waste a moment while on vaca...
This particular day we headed to Northport for some morning beach time.
Here's Billy and Will about 100 yards out! This particular morning the sailing camp was also going on which was very exciting...
You can enroll kids in sailing camp once they are 8 - I can't wait for this!
I sure hope this boat is still around in three years! (note the name)
After that busy morning we had a picnic lunch on the beach in Leland (the fabulous city where we got married almost ELEVEN years ago!)...
Guys - John LOVED the water...he had no fear...
Papa Dave and Will got into some mischief as usual...note to self...next year we are totally getting out to that spiral slide see top left of pic - are you kidding me?
And John learned that throwing sand was fun...
Will decided it was time to show off...which was all fun and games...until John decided to do the same thing! Luckily when John jumped off the dock I was within arms reach and plucked him up in mid air!
I love my little mullet man :)
Even if he does throw wet sand at me...
This picture might seem confusing...no, John is not super tall...I'm actually on my knees...
We are very excited about how much he likes the water, but nervous all the same because he has no fear of it!
So as if two different beaches and a picnic weren't enough - we decided to head BACK to Northport for dinner at The Garage, followed by Music in the Park...whew!
The Northport park has huge, awesome trees, perfect for climbing...
Nothing like a beautiful evening to complete a fabulous day!
John was grooving to the music...
And Will, well, Will was being Will... :)
We clapped along for a few songs, John went up front and danced for a minute...
And then...of course...we topped the evening off with ice cream :)
I think we all slept well that night!
