Spring Break Day 3

Day three was probably the most exhilarating day of all...we got up bright and early and took the boys (actually, just Billy and Will) snow tubing!  John and I hung back and enjoyed the views...and let the big guys have all the fun....make sure to check out the two videos below!

Just to let you know, the tubing mountain was a 700 foot drop and you can get up to speeds of 40 MPH!  Once you get to the bottom of the mountain, a moving sidewalk (just like in the airports) brings you all the way back up and you have to be big enough to drag your tube around!  Will loved this...and had no problem getting up and down the mountain!

John and I just hung out in the sun and snow (by the way - there was SOOOO much sun that day at 2 miles high that even though we were all smothered in sunscreen...and we all got a little sun kissed that day...)

John got a little hungry and thirsty so we opted for some snow since it covered both of his needs...

And Will and Billy just kept at it...over and over and over again!

After a few runs they got brave and decided they would let the Kidtopia folks give them a little spin down the mountain...

I love this, they are going so fast they are kicking up snow haha!

And John kept eating...

And here is a great video of Billy and Will going down together --- Billy is holding the video camera --- you can really get a feel for how fast they were going!

At one point I was able to get John in one of the baby tubes - he was not pleased - not please at all, and let everyone on the mountain know it!

When their time was up Will and John had a little snack before heading back to the snow fort...

Here is a picture of one of the snow tubes/slides on site...

And here is a great photo of Will exploring...

This is a small snow maze they built inside the fort...

And an ice bench :) How fun!

Will started making his way around the fort, ducking through tunnels, sliding down slides, and running through hallways...

I love this photo because I think Will looks almost exactly like the dude on the sign haha!

Here is a great shot of the fort with the mountains in the background...

Meanwhile, while Will and I were exploring, John and Billy took a small siesta...on a snow bank haha!

Will and I headed up to the powder for more exploring and tunneling...

And yes, a little snowball fight ensued...

We definitely overdid the morning activities (for John anyway)...he was NOT a happy camper as we were headed for lunch...but once his tummy was full he was fine :)

Billy and Will headed back to the tubing mountain after lunch while John and I drove around, napped, and enjoyed some scenery....it was a VERY busy day, VERY fun, and exhausting!!!
