Spring Break Day 2 - Evening Bigfoot Hunt!

Believer or Non Believer - we've all seen this legendary photo of BIGFOOT!

This guy (or urban legend) is one of the main reasons we chose Keystone above all other Colorado resorts/villages...Keystone is known for catering to kids with their Kidtopia, sleigh rides, and tubing...but they are also known for having their night hike to hunt for Bigfoot!

Which was a perfect mommy/son late night excursion on day 2!
Will was super excited the whole time leading up to Spring Break for this event...

Before heading out - the Bigfoot "guide" told the group all about the native animals that live in Colorado, cool facts about the Ute Indian Tribe that once called Colorado home, and of course - all sorts of tidbits about Bigfoot...like, he's 9 feet tall, weighs 800 pounds, is super stinky, and extremely shy.

When Will found out he was going to be the leader of the entire group of kids - he was even MORE excited!  And he took it very seriously - he held his flashlight tight and led the group through a mile of hiking trails in and around the woods of Keystone, sometimes through snow drifts up to their hips!

Along the way, we came across all sorts of hints that Bigfoot had recently been nearby...but this clue was the show stopper - this really fired the kids up.  Kids were squealing, screaming, running for their parents, and giggling uncontrollably!

When we left Colorado we asked Will what his favorite part of the trip was, and he said it was this!
Hopefully we can do it next time with Johnny B too!
