John At Two Months Old

John is TWO MONTHS OLD!

He is what one could describe as a happy baby...as you can see in the below pictures.  

Just the sound of a familiar voice brings smiles to his face...one of my favorite parts of the day is getting him out of bed from a nap because he is just so happy to see you and let's you know it!  He has two little dimples above his upper lip toward the corners of his mouth that show up every now and then during a really big smile...they are so cute!  I hope they stay!  Speaking of dimples, he has developed some fabulously pudgy pinchable dimples all over his body...from his knuckles, to his elbows, to his derrière haha!  

He is also becoming extremely vocal...he is a major cooer and it is just so cute to hear him try to communicate with us!  Will also gets a kick out of his 'language' skills.  (note to self--get this on video camera and post!)

He is also picking up some weird habits that Will has, for example, hair twirling.  Will started this at about the same age and hasn't stopped since...whenever he is drinking, he is twirling.

He rocks tummy time :) and is starting to enjoy his swing.

He sleeps through anything and everything...I don't know why we were always so quiet and hush hush around Will when he was a baby...we were such rookies! For example...

Meanwhile, three feet away from him, this wrestling match was going on...

...didn't bother him one bit!

He is eating us out of house and home (I am seriously considering buying stock in Enfamil).  He is completely fuss free (which we deserve I think after Will :))...he eats, has some awake time and then goes to sleep without a peep, without rocking, without singing, without anything!  He is even starting to sleep through the night!  (The last two nights we had him down by 9pm and he didn't wake up until 5am!)

John at 2 months:

Weight:  13lbs 1.7ozs (91%ile)

Length: 24 1/4 inches (83%ile)

Will at 2 months:

Weight: 12lbs

Length: 24 inches
