So things have changed around our house a little bit this week...we are spoiling the heck out of John :)
A couple times a day, we hold John to nap in an effort to decrease the pressure on the back of his skull.
He was always such a great sleeper...he would eat, play and then nap all by himself...ever since he was born...but we have decided to do this regardless. Hopefully we don't create a 'hold me' monster! We just think for the next couple of months, it wouldn't hurt to do this...because no matter how we lay him in bed, prop him up, put him on his side etc, he still ends up by the end of the nap directly on his soft spot.
It is so weird to be doing this with such a peaceful baby! I remember when Will was John's age, we would have to hold, rock, sing etc to him just to get him to nap. John never required any of this! It is so strange how things are working out around here nowadays.
And just when I thought we were never going to have to buy any more baby gear...we got a Baby Bjorn...so fabulous. And he loved sleeping in it :)
And thankfully Nana Rosie has been around to help out (I am sure she doesn't mind these little bonding moments one bit :))
