Will had such a good time...our ride home entailed conversations about trilobites and sloths and megalodons and dinosaurs and so much more....it was awesome seeing him so enthusiastic about all the things he was able to check out this evening...
There was so much to see and do, and I know I've provided way too many photographs but I know Nana Julie and Papa Dave are anxiously awaiting these....(I apologize in advance for my amateur photography skills with the dramatic lighting in the hall)
The arrival....
T-Rex!
Rhamphoryinchus...
Quetzalcoatlus...
Giant Three Toed Sloth...
Giant Armadillo (I'm not kidding!) and 'the family that refused to move'...
Mammoth...
Another! T-Rex...
This was a super cool exhibit and I totally expect my parents to spend at least 1 hour in here in the fall...Jurassic time period petrified wood gallery...absolutely stunning stuff in here!
Balloon exhibit :) Of course Will requested a T-Rex...
Mososaurus (we may or may not have played this in the tub tonight :))
Megaladon mouth (and a poor unsuspecting mammal going for a swim)
Another! Mammoth...
Triceratops...
T-Rex (again!)
Allosaurus fossilized footprint...
Triceratops horn...
Allosaurus tooth...
T-Rex brain (poor guy...never had a chance haha!)
Deinonychus...this is cool because you can see here that one of the most terrifying dinosaurs was not much bigger than Will!
Pterodactyl...
Pteranodons...
Dimetrodon...
Dimetrodon fossil...
Saber Toothed Tiger...
Postosuchus...
Allosaurus...
and last but not least, my favorite...Stegosaurus...
We pretended to be high society by snacking on the finger foods they provided...
And of course caught a movie...
The only thing that could possibly be more awesome than this is occurring this Wednesday...
Stay Tuned!!!
