One of the very best investments Nana Julie and Papa Dave make every year is renewing our zoo membership...THANK YOU! This weekend was gorgeous, so we decided, before the weather got TOO hot, we would take a trip to the zoo...after all - the new African Forest exhibit makes the trip worth it! Will absolutely loves the Houston Zoo - they have tons of neat animals, a petting zoo, you can feed giraffes, there is a carousel and a train...what more could a little boy want!
Here's Billy and Will outside the rhino exhibit - there are three rhinos and they are adorable!
And here is a picture of Will and I - we are mimicking the 'kissing' mommy and daddy' giraffes in the background right above us in the picture...and how cute is the baby to the right of Will?!?!?!
We finished our afternoon off with a picnic by the paddle-boat pond, then headed for home where Will and I proceeded to pass out for a three hour nap :)
