Mother's Day Presents

What can you make for a $10 purchase at WalMart?  Fabulous Mother's Day Presents!  Billy and I have realized ever since Will was born that the best presents given to our parents (to include Birthday, Christmas, Mother's and Father's Day) are "Will related".

As such I thought a little piece of artwork created by our little man would be a gift to last a lifetime.  Here he is in action last week (don't worry - both Nana Julie and Nana Rosie have already opened their presents!)

I gave him just a few instructions:  He was to use only 2 colors per canvass, 2 brushes per canvass, and had to tell me when he was "done" (i.e. before too much mixing occurred).  When it was all said and done, he did a fabulous job - so I let him go "buck wild" creating two more - one for his room and one for me using any brushes and colors he wanted.  We had a blast...and both Nana's loved their gifts!

Mine is on the bottom left and Will's is on the bottom right...these turned out to be TOO CUTE!  We'll definitely be doing this again soon!
