Will The Trendsetter

So we have discovered Will to be quite the trendsetter at school...which we find to be fascinating since he is the quietest, most passive kid in his classroom (not to mention a tattle tail!).

1. When he was in the younger classroom, he became very territorial over his seat at the tables, so they assigned seats to appease him by placing the student's pictures on the backs of the chairs.  
2. Next he became the great acorn collector - and drug his friends into it as well.  He would come home with acorns in his pockets and proudly present them to us once we got home.
3. Then he moved into his new classroom, and was so infatuated with the fact that they had a giant alphabet mat to sit on during circle time, he promptly laid claim on the "W".  Now of course, due to his insistence on being able to sit on "his" letter every time during circle time, all students have now been assigned a letter to avoid any confusion.
4. The latest is his obsession with the Super Friends (i.e. Batman, Robin, The Flash, Green Lantern, Superman etc) and of course Spiderman (not a Super Friend - but we allow him to think so :))  Well, apparently, he is spreading his love of the Super Friends to his classmates.  As Billy dropped him off at school the other day, two little girls in his class were checking in at the same time and they turned to their parents and said, "Hey, there's Will, our superfriend"!  Haha!
