Saturday at the Houston Aquarium

Saturday (John's 2nd birthday eve) we thought it would be fun to head down to the aquarium - John had never been and we thought he would love it - and he did.  He thought the fish were totally cool and raced through the exhibits like a mad man!

Here they are - side note - this is the FIRST TIME EVER we have had matching shirts for them (compliments of Nana Rosie-Thank you!)...not sure if I should pat myself on the back for that one or kick myself for waiting nearly two years to match them up...

A bonus now that Will is a super reader - he can read the exhibit info to John!

The Houston Aquarium also has a white tiger exhibit (weird - I know) but it is fabulous and a showstopper - Will loved it the first time through - John hated it...the second round through however John was all about the tigers and I had to drag him out (seriously - kicking and screaming).

Did I mention anything about kicking and screaming?

Next we headed to the sting ray reef exhibit where you can touch and feed the sting rays...we thought Will would love it - and he did love touching them - but completely freaked out about feeding them so I mommed up and attempted to calmly and cooly do it myself and I have to admit - when that thing surfaced and started sucking the fish out of my hand I freaked!  ICK! Never again!

It was a great time - and a great way to spend a Saturday!
