Spring Break Part TWO

Sunday rolled around and it was a HUGE day for us...
Discover the Dinosaurs was being displayed at the George R Brown Convention Center...
so we
of course
HAD to go!

We all donned our best dino tees (or in Billy's case, Johnny Football T) and headed downtown...

Someone was slightly excited when we got there!

The exhibits were very very cool...awesome lighting and the dinosaurs moved!

Deinonychus

Spinosaurus

Dilophosaurus

T-Rex

Triceratops (John was not impressed)

And a dig sight (John WAS impressed)

And then it was time to actually RIDE DINOSAURS!!!

Giganotosaurus

And they MOVED!

T-Rex

Dilophosaurus

Triceratops

John was unimpressed with the idea of riding large fake reptiles so he chose to take a break and eat...

Next it was on to the miniature golf course...where Will actually made a hole in one shortly after this photo (John was still eating)

Next we hit a maze and ended up in a dinosaur play area for Johnny B
He absolutely fell in love with this purple Sauropod

And then the Pteranadon

It didn't take long for Will to get bored in the baby area so he began doing things that gave me hearburn...

Finally it was time to leave.
As we headed back to our car we found this great spot for a quick photo...
A photo which pretty much shows you the difference in our kids...
One likes to pose nicely and follow direction...
One likes to try to climb walls and ignore us!
(Thanks Billy for editing it!)

And finally...the best 'sign of the times' (pun INTENDED)
Apparently the convention center was also hosting another little event...

GOD BLESS TEXAS!!!!
