So this is the second post from LAST weekend when Will and John's Great Aunt Sharon and Uncle Chuck were in town. Sunday rolled around and I had to fly out to San Francisco for some silly work matters so the rest of the fam took Sharon and Chuck to, where else, the Museum of Natural Science. From what I've been told, they had a great time...check out the pics!
Here is Will making his best Smilodon (Saber Toothed Tiger) face...
And apparently he was feeling quite sassy in this photo...
Finally a normal photo!
Every time I see the Megaldon mouth I am amazed!
They saw a really cool Imax 3D movie...Sea Rex...I'll have to go there soon to check it out!
Thanks for visiting...come back soon!!!!

Well Darryl, it looks like you and the boys had such a great time with Aunt Sharon and Uncle Chuck! The pictures of their recent visit made me smile and sort of chuckle to myself as they brought back snippets of a few vacations you and I took with them when we were that young. LOL! Oh my Gosh, one vivid memory would be force-feeding ourselves a grape leaf wrapped appetizer in a Greek restaurant Chuck took us too, YUCK!!! Another vacation memory (now years later I can admit this), would be my cutthroat teen-olescent level of enthusiasm for their plan of taking us on a tour of all the Smithsonian’s and museums in DC. Ahhh yes, I’m sure my excitement and interest throughout THAT trip was palpable. LOL!
Come to think of it, Sharon and Chuck truly displayed a superhuman level of self-control that trip Carolyn! Good Lord! Amazingly!....When SO many others would have thrown in the towel. Admitted defeat! Succumbed to my antics... THEY remained undaunted!!! Increasingly determined to weather the volatile storm of my tenebrous, adolescent mood swings and wildly cantankerous disposition. Yes, yes…. Sharon and Chuck surprised me that vacation. They countered my massive affront to their vacation plans with considerable tolerance and staying power. When the dust settled, Sharon, Chuck, and YOU Carolyn—refusing to become collateral damage—united together in a dauntless quest of an educational DC vacation, and proved to be a formidable ane indestructible force of opposition for me. In the end, the three of you persevered and ultimately overpowered and outlasted my fight to spend the vacation by the pool. How the three of you endured all the super awesome, positive energy I was emoting is beyond me. Even then, I can remember being surprised by your inextinguishable optimism, considering how teen-tuded I was most of that vacation. Poor Sharon and Chuck must’ve been very relieved when it was all over. And Carolyn….THANK THE LORD EVERY SINGLE DAY… that you do NOT have two young girls and that your boys—my wonderful and amazing nephews—will probably never employ such behavior. =) I LOVE YOU ALL!
