John at One Month Old

Already....Seriously....John bear is ONE MONTH OLD!

Not much to say about this little dude...he's quite the content baby! Uh...when he is eating anyway!...

At one month old...one thing comes to mind...he is extremely strong!  When burping him we have to do our best to not let him turn his head up and around like it is on a little swivel...We've put him on his belly once...yes...once for tummy time and he flipped his head immediately from looking to the left, to the right like it was nothing.  He has also shown us his gummy smile on several occasions.  

He eats every three hours...it is almost like he has a little internal alarm clock that keeps him on this schedule.  Well, he eats every three hours except between the hours of about 5pm and 8pm when he demands four ounces nearly every hour and a half.  The kid is just packing away the food...we honestly don't know where he puts it...although he does appear to be chunking up a bit :)  

He is also very very very vocal...during feedings, he protests greatly when we pause him to burp...once the bottle leaves his mouth, he let's us know he wants it back ASAP!  So in a nutshell, based on eating alone...John bear is the exact opposite of Will haha!  

Oh, speaking of Will...he is still the best big brother.  He's our little helper around the house and enjoys spending time with John in John's jungle gym.  He talks to, sings to and kisses John constantly...just the perfect big brother!

I threw this picture into the mix as it is a pretty good image of the look I get from him between burping and resuming feedings...the look is kind of like "really mom...really?  You expect me to stop to burp?!"  In this picture, he reminds me of a very calm yet very serious mobster...an Al Capone if you will, when contemplating formula prohibition lol.  And dare I say...there is even a slight resemblance?
