Bazinga...

You've all seen The Big Bang Theory I hope (...if not, you are seriously missing out on one of the best sitcoms in the world)...as Billy and I have been catching up on the season (thank you DVR!) we have noticed a striking similarity between one Will Brown and one Dr. Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons' character).

The similarities are uncanny....from clothing style to personality to just being overbearingly anal retentive and particular about EVERYTHING...

• Both are from Texas (really!)
• Both love The Flash and other Super Friends
• They both even have the same Flash tee (think I'm kidding?)

• Both have a "spot on the couch" others are to not intrude upon...yes...Will will advise any new visitor, family member or even pet (as we found out with Jude earlier this year) that his spot is his spot and no one elses.
• In the show, Sheldon exhibits a strict adherence to routine...as does Will (he must do everything in order...especially in the mornings and evenings).  Seriously...he is border line OCD with some things.
• Sheldon is taunted by those he claims are threatened by his intelligence.  I've witnessed Will taunted by fellow school kids...but instead of being confrontational, Will politely reasons with them almost like an adult using terms such as 'please' and 'no thank you' and the like.  I've also witnessed Will attempting to engage his friends in fantasy play (for example dinosaurs) by saying things like, "ok, you are an Edmontasaurus and I am a T-Rex"...leaving the other child very confused.
• Both show no interest in forming relationships with strangers or those outside his current circle of friends.  Seriously...this makes going to public parks kind of awkward.
• They always wears vintage DC Super Friend shirts.
• Sheldon is scientifically inclined and is fond of comic book heroes, action figures and super hero/sci-fi fantasy.  Will is also scientifically inclined (in my opinion).  He loves dinosaurs, knows pretty much any and every animal that ever existed and even knows all the planets (in the correct order from the sun!).  Will is obsessed with the Super Friends and has an unreal imagination that comes out in his stories and fantasy play.
• Sheldon has an overly extensive knowledge base some may suggest is 'useless'.  Does anyone know what an Echidna is?  Or a Narwhal Whale?  Will does!
• Sheldon cannot stand to be interrupted.  Will will actually tell us to be quiet (for example at the table) if he is talking.  He's also been known to put his hand over your mouth if you interrupt him!
• Sheldon cannot stand to hear people argue.  On a few occasions, Will has actually told Billy and I to stop. 
• And for some reason, Sheldon has quite the influence on his circle of friends.  Will has been referred to as the Zack Morris of his classroom by his teachers (think Saved By The Bell)...everyone wants to sit by him during art, play with him during 'recess' and just hang out with him in general.  The other day a little girl even made him a drawing and gave it to him :)  In fact, if he had it his way, he'd spend his Halloween dressed like this, with his friends:
