We were all very nervous about Will's big day (or should I say, Grant and Sunshine's big day?)...
He was the ring bearer...that's right, the shyest little boy in the world was supposed to make friends with a flower girl in just a couple of hours and walk down a church aisle on SMU's campus, all the while ignoring the fact that two hundred people were staring at him!
Per my previous post, he had a fabulous nap...but didn't care too much for the hustle and bustle of getting ready for the big event. Despite my encouraging, he didn't find this couch at the hotel quite as inspirational as I did...but, then again, we can't manufacture all of our pictures to have smiling happy faces!
Then came the big event...drumroll please for the video footage!
He did a FABULOUS job! He took charge, grabbing Brie by the hand and marched her right down the aisle...(his pace quickening as he realized they were the focus of everyone's attention).
And when the wedding was all over, they marched right back out!
I was so proud of my little man!
Next we were off to the reception, at the Nasher Sculpture Museum...can I just say this was the most beautiful weather we have had in MONTHS? It was perfect!
Will just makes my heart melt!!!
Will and Brie were pretty much inseparable at the reception, until she fell asleep sometime shortly after dinner, much to Will's dismay...he actually welled up when he discovered she was asleep and wouldn't be dancing!
We were also able to get a few good candid shots of W...
And the fam! For ONCE! I can't remember the last time we actually took a family photo in which someone (ok, me) wasn't wearing pajamas, or a side pony tail, or needed a shower haha!!
This pitchfork would have come in handy growing up...what do you think mom? This would make for FAST horse stall clean up!
SIGH...how handsome!
And lastly, Tres Browns!
A couple things I learned over the weekend...
1. Will is definitely not a diva (he is SO not into photo ops)
2. Will is cuter than Billy in a tux (sorry Billy!)
3. Will befriends girls way too easily :)
4. Traveling is fun until I have to share a bed with a 3 year old
5. I should submit Will-art to this museum...I think it would be a good addition!
