John is officially ONE!
We celebrated his birthday on Saturday with a Mustache Bash at our house!
(FYI--apologies for the large post, but we were without both sets of grandparents for this occasion so I must show e.v.e.r.y l.a.s.t. d.e.t.a.i.l)
Our little man is ONE!!! Wow that was a fast year!
And how cute is he :)
I (literally) redecorated our dining room to host the event...
I hereby vow to never again have a party at our house!
We had balloons....(my favorite decoration of all time btw)...
A photobooth, complete with mustache props...
And of course, a fabulous cake and cupcakes made by one of my dear friends at work...
We had treat bags for our little guests...

John was feeling excited and feisty in the morning...
Yes, we changed the frame in the background just for this occasion :)
Once the guests started arriving, John fell asleep from all the stranger stress...that gave me time to get some photos of all his well-wishers...
And of course, gave everyone time to eat...
After about an hour of sleeping on daddy's shoulder, John was ready to go!

He didn't get too much into the cake with all the hoopla going on around him but once it got a little quieter...he jumped right in on a cupcake!
Then it was time to capture a few final moments before the gifts...
Perhaps feeling the need to get a little attention himself, Will (and his bestie Dylan) decided to impress us all by playing dress up during the gift opening...
