Easter 2016

Easter 2016 was part of a whirlwind weekend that included Will's birthday party, Easter egg dyeing, confetti egg fighting, church, an Easter egg hunt, and my departure for OKC :( SAD.

But...never mind the sadness. 

Here's how all the excitement went down.

First of all - we had to dye our eggs.  The boys were especially messy and mischievous this year during this whole event - Billy and I nearly lost our sanity during the whole thing - but somehow everyone made it out alive haha.

Next we were off to conduct our annual confetti egg fight.  

Normally, I'm just an innocent bystander...

But some super happy 38 year old decided it would be funny to mess with me.  

NOT.FUNNY.

(ok, maybe it was haha!)

 The kids really got involved - it almost became a tad violent at one point - this may be the last year for this tradition!

After a good nights sleep - we were off to Mass on Sunday morning looking very blue and very yellow :)

 Upon our return home - the kids dug into their baskets and prepared for their hunt...

Look at Will's face - hysterical - then our two little misfits took off to find eggs...

 They very nearly found the same amount this year...

It was a very quick, very full weekend of fun and celebration...so thankful all four of us were together for it!
