In late February, we redeemed Johnny's birthday present by attending Marvel Universe Live!
It was INCREDIBLE.
The boys (including Billy, secretly I am sure) were super excited as we teased them with youtube clips for weeks leading up to it.
After getting what might possibly be the largest bucket of popcorn ever, we settled in, the lights dimmed, and the music, pyrotechnics, and superheroes took the stage.
Wolverine, Thor, Spiderman, Captain America, Ironman, Hawkeye, Black Widow and more!
And there were of course the bad guys, Loki and Red Skull.
And when Bruce Banner had enough of their shenanigans, he transformed into JOhnny's favorite - The Hulk! It was a show stopper. Johnny was fixated. Enamored with what he was watching, I'm sure trying to figure out if it was reality or fantasy. It was AWESOME.
What a memorable experience for us to share with our two favorite super heros!!!!
(Seriously, this might have been more exciting than any broadway play I've ever seen.)
