John at FIVE Months Old

Today John is officially FIVE MONTHS OLD!!!!

He wears size 3 diapers...

He is wearing size 18 month tee shirts...

He is wearing size 12 month footed pajamas which we may have to discontinue already due to the size of his arms/thighs (and it is so funny to look at a five month old with 'gripper' feet on his pajamas --- as if he could walk...ha!)...

According to the doctor, he is roughly 18 1/2 pounds (he had to make a visit today due to the onset of some sniffles)...

He doesn't sit (or should I say fit) comfortably in the bumbo anymore, so he's already in a high chair...and LOVES food...

He can sit on his own, for a bit...

He is super grabby...reaches out for anything and everything and then tries to chew it...

He is really in love with Will...I mean, in LOVE...

Here's my blue eyed babe...

And here are a few photos of him that I thought were funny....they were taken this evening when I was trying to get the 'perfect smile' shot for his 5 month photo...this is the effect I have on him...

I started by making funny noises...

His reaction: confusion...

I started talking to him in a high pitched voice...

His reaction:  delight...

I then made funny motions with my hands...

His reaction:  attack of the giggles!

Realizing it had been a few seconds of him being unable to catch his breath, I let up on my antics...

His reaction: anticipation for what was yet to come...

Then I made the move for the final picture op...

His reaction: complete hysterics!
