I can hardly believe John is already 6 months old!
Yes, the post is a day late, but I wanted to wait until his checkup so we could post the usual nonsense!
Length: 27.5 inches (85th percentile)
Weight: 18 pounds 14.5 ozs (75th percentile)
(Will at 6 months was 17 pounds and 28.25 inches)
John is slightly roly poly these days...not trimming down a bit!
He is wearing 18 month - 2T size shirts and 18 month - 24 month shorts.
We also had to move up to 18 month sized sleepers so his arms and legs would fit!
He sits up all by himself
He HATES being on his back and can actually do a full sit up to get into a sitting position
He has been eating solids twice a day and we are starting him on three times a day tomorrow
He is slobbering like it is going out of style and pretty much everything goes in his mouth
He likes spending time in his jumperoo and walker
He is about as close to crawling as can be...he can rock back and forth a bit and lunge forward (repeat)
He is the most smiley baby I have ever known
and
I'm pretty sure Will is still his favorite person!

And finally the six month comparison...in honor of my latest nickname for him...marshmallow :)
After all...
He is sweet...
He is "fluffy"...
He is soft...
And he is delectably squishy!
